Screenprint on fabric
Fabric Workshop & Museum Philadelphia, 2012
Pattern of a scrambled TV signal is screenprinted on a long yardage of fabric. A seemingly endless stream of watery TV, mocking even the widest of all screens. The lost signal becomes a repeated pattern. The image of the TV that does not work anymore drips through the mesh of the printing screen and becomes something beautiful. The aesthetic of a lost signal in a digital world.
